ACC Treatments

The Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) administers New Zealand’s accident compensation scheme, which provides personal injury cover for all New Zealand citizens, residents and temporary visitors to New Zealand.

ACC generally covers the treatment of ‘personal injury’ – that is physical or mental injury caused by a physical injury, or mental injury by sexual assault or abuse.

Making a claim:

  • If you are injured visit your G.P as soon as possible to get your injury assessed.
  • During the visit you and the G.P will fill out an ACC injury claim form which is then lodged with ACC.
  • You will receive a referral to get treatment from any registered ACC provider.

Hijama Clinic is a registered ACC Treatment Provider. All ACC referrals are welcomed.

What do you have to pay?

ACC covers the entire cost of treatments. Here at Hijama Clinic you will only need to pay a surcharge of $25 for a 1 hour session or $20 for 45 minute session.

For more information about ACC and the services they provide visit www.acc.co.nz or phone 0800 101 996.
