POST-TREATMENT CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Do not shower after Hijama Therapy for 12-24 hours

  • It is safer to do so to prevent infection, also allows faster healing of skin
  • As the body is recovering it is not recommended to have any extra stimulus from hot or cold showers

Best not to do any exercise after Hijama Therapy

  • Avoid sports, gym, running and swimming. Your body will respond better when you rest for 1-2 days.
  • You can still go for relaxing walks after the therapy, this helps increase your blood oxygen without overheating the body or sweating.
  • Avoid going to sauna or steam rooms for at least 2-3 days after treatment.

Diet and Fluid intake after Hijama Therapy

  • It is important to increase your fluid intake after Cupping or Hijama Therapy, this helps in the recovery process and to further cleanse your body from any residual toxins.
